YOUTH ACTION NOW - YOUTH VOICES

p1050338.jpg

HEARTREBELS  were running a workshop with youth at the Danish High School Marie Kruse on youth, political awareness and activism. Through forum theater and participatory and motivating exercises did the youth reflect on discussed and acted on youth possibilities to act upon and within their society. The case of the forum theater were based on the choices and thoughts youth in Nepal deals with in their everyday life. The Danish youth were chatting with nepalese youth getting knowledge on the nepalese society and information on what it takes to be youth in Nepal - the posibilities to act - to perform their part in the forum theatre. This made the Danish youth reflect on the frames for action in Denmark and gave them insight in youth activism in Nepal. They generated a space for exchanging ideas and perspectives on how we as youth can act upon and with in the society we live in.
